Marcel Sabitzer is a soccer player playing for Manchester United on loan from Bayern Munich. He is an Austrian midfielder and forward.
He came through in his youth career with Grazer AK, before moving into senior football with Admira Wacker.
He made his senior first-team debut with Admira in 2010, moving to Rapid Vienna in January 2013. He quickly impressed with Rapid, landing a move to emerging German giants RB Leipzig in May 2014 who loaned him back to Austria with sister club RB Salzburg.

Sabitzer enjoyed a fruitful period with Salzburg and Leipzig, taking him career to the next level, being named the Austrian Footballer of the Year in 2017 and included in the 2019-20 Bundesliga Team of the Season.
Bayern Munich signed the Austrian in August 2021 on a four-year deal with a transfer worth 16m euros. In February 2023, he was loaned to Manchester United until the end of the season.
Sabitzer made his Austria debut in 2012 as an 18-year-old. He has played for Austria at both Euro 2016 and Euro 2020.
