Valon Berisha is a soccer player playing for Melbourne City, on loan from Stade Reims. He is a Sweden-born midfielder who has represented Kosovo.
He came through in Norway with Egersund, moving to Viking in 2009 where he impressed and earned a move to Austrian club Red Bull Salzburg in 2012.
Berisha enjoyed an excellent period with Salzburg, winning the Austrian Bundesliga five times and the Austrian Cup three times and he played 233 times, scoring 45 goals.
In July 2018, Berisha moved to Italian giants Lazio on a five-year deal with a 7.5 million euros fee. He never nailed down a regular spot at Lazio and went out on a six-month loan to Fortuna Dusseldorf in January 2020.
He joined French club Reims on a four-year deal in July 2020 from Lazio, playing regularly before joining Melbourne City on loan in September 2022.
