Youri Tielemans is a soccer player playing for Aston Villa. He is a Belgium international midfielder.
Club Career
Tielemans was an Anderlecht youth product, who excelled domestically as a youngster, including 18 goals in the 2016-17 season along with providing the most assists in the Pro League.
He won the Belgian Young Professional Footballer of the Year in both 2013–14 and 2014–15. He also won the Belgian Pro League best youngster in both 2014 and 2015.

In May 2017, French big spenders Monaco signed Tielemans on a five-year deal for 25 million euros. Tielemans didn’t quite succeed in France and was loaned to English club Leicester City in January 2019 for six months.
Tielemans impressed with the Foxes, signing a four-year deal in mid-2019 for 32 million pounds. In 2021, Tielemans scored the only goal as Leicester City won the FA Cup over Chelsea 1-0.
In June 2023, Tielemans signed with Aston Villa on a free transfer.
International Career
After playing for Belgium at under-age level, Tielemans debuted for the senior national team in 2016.
Tielemans was part of Belgium’s 2018 World Cup side that finished in third place. He also competed at the 2022 World Cup.
