Career

Bernardo began his career at Benfica but found limited opportunities in the first team, leading to a move to AS Monaco. In France, he was instrumental in Monaco's 2016–17 Ligue 1 triumph, ending Paris Saint-Germain's dominance. His performances earned him a £43.5 million transfer to Manchester City in 2017.

At City, he quickly became a fan favorite.
