Salvador Ballesta Vialco, commonly known as Salva Ballesta, is a Spanish football player who currently features for the Spanish football club Malaga. He is a striker who has tremendous talent but is a footballing journeyman.
Salva Ballesta commenced his football career at the Andalucian giants Sevilla in 1995 and moved to Racing Santander in 1998. He was the top scorer in La Liga in the 1999-2000 season with 27 goals and was signed by Atletico Madrid. But after one season he moved to Valencia where he played just 24 league matches in four years although it has to be said that he spent most of these four years on loan to Bolton Wanderers, Malaga and Atletico Madrid.
In the summer of 2005 Salva Ballesta joined Malaga and has been pretty much a regular for them.
