Valmiro Lopes Rocha, more commonly known as Valdo, is a Spanish football player who currently features for the Spanish football club Espanyol. He plays as a midfielder.
Valdo began his career for Real Madrid during the 2001-2002 season but could make just one league appearance that season. In the summer of 2002 he was offloaded to Real Madrid B and then in December 2002 he was moved onto Osasuna where he played until the summer of 2007 and scored 19 goals in 120 league appearances.
Valdo was signed by Espanyol in the summer of 2007 and was a regular for the Barcelona club in the 2007-2008 season.
