Julian Brandt

Julian Brandt is a German professional footballer. As of the 2025 season, he plays as a left winger or attacking midfielder for the Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund and the Germany National Team. He made over 55 combined appearances for Germany's youth teams, playing at every level from U15 to U21.

Career

Brandt began his professional career at Bayer Leverkusen, where he made 165 appearances and scored 34 goals between 2014 and 2019.

In 2019, he moved to Borussia Dortmund. During his time there, he has won the DFB-Pokal in the 2020–2021 season and reached the UEFA Champions League final in the 2023–2024 campaign.

At the international level, Brandt was a member of the squad that won the UEFA European Under-19 Championship in 2014. He also won a silver medal at the 2016 Summer Olympic Games and the FIFA Confederations Cup in 2017.
