Euzebiusz Smolarek is a Polish international footballer who currently features for the Spanish football club Racing Santander. He is a versatile player who is equally efficient as a striker and as a winger. He was named after the great Portuguese footballer Eusebio.

Euzebiusz Smolarek grew up in the Netherlands and developed at the Feyenoord youth academy and made his debut with the first team in 2000 and played for five seasons for them and featured in 68 league matches and scored 12 goals.

In 2002 he was tested positive on cannabis but the amount found in his urine was so low that the possibility that he had actually smokes it was ruled out. However he was suspended for two European matches and therefore he missed the UEFA Cup final against Borussia Dortmund.

In 2005 Smolarek was signed by Borussia Dortmund and two seasons later was signed by Racing Santander for 4.8 million euros.

Smolarek made his debut for Poland in 2002 and featured at the 2006 Germany World Cup and Euro 2008.
