Jesse Lingard is a soccer player playing for Nottingham Forest. He is also an England international.
Warrington-born Lingard came through as a junior at Manchester United from 2000, signing his first professional deal with the club in 2011.
He was loaned out several times in his early days at United, including spells with Leicester City, Birmingham City, Brighton and Hove Albion and Derby County.

He debuted for United in the 2014-15 Premier League season but got much more game-time in the following campaigns, scoring his first goal for the club in November 2015. In 2017-18, he scored eight league goals and 13 in all competitions.
In the 2020-21 season he enjoyed a productive loan spell with West Ham United, netting nine goals and providing five assists, winning the Premier League Player of the Month for April too. After that he attempted to re-establish himself at United but struggled for opportunities and left the club as a free agent in June 2022, signing a one-year deal with Forest.
Lingard debuted for England in October 2016 against Malta. He was part of England’s 2018 World Cup squad, scoring against Panama, but missed out on their Euros 2020 squad.
