David Aouate, popularly known as Dudu, is an Israeli international footballer who currently features for the Spanish football club Deportivo la Coruna. He plays as a goalkeeper.
Dudu commenced his professional football at Hapoel Haifa in 1998 and played for them for three seasons and made over 100 league appearances. In 2001 he moved to Maccabi Haifer and was again a first choice regular custodian for two seasons.
In the summer of 2003 Dudu moved to Spain and to Racing Santander and played 78 league matches until the summer of 2006 when he moved to fellow Spanish side Deportivo la Coruna. Dudu readily shifted into the first choice slot and has sustained his place.
Dudu made his international debut for Israel in 1999 and has played 32 international matches for his national side.
