A professional football player from Algeria, Brahim Ferradj generally plays as a defender in the fullback positions, on either side of the pitch, and is also known to play as a holding midfielder too. Born and brought up in France, to Algerian parents, Brahim started playing at the youth level with local teams. When he was 13, he was picked up by the AJ Auxerre youth academy where he played for 7 seasons.

In 2007, despite graduating from the youth academy, Brahim didn’t find any takers at Auxerre, and was forced to look elsewhere for a professional side to play with. He found Stade Brestois in 2007 and began working his way into their first team. Slowly making his way into the first team, Brahim’s ability to play in a variety of positions has ensured that he gets time on the pitch. So far, Brahim has made over 100 appearances for the club, scoring 7 times, and as also chosen to represent Algeria at the international level, instead of France.
