Fernando Llorente Torres is a Spain international footballer who currently features for the Spanish club Athletic Bilbao. He is a striker and is rated as one of the best forwards in the world.
Llorente developed at the youth academy of Athletic Bilbao and threaded his way to the first team in 2005 and has made over 250 La Liga appearances for Bilbao.
He made his debut in La Liga in January 2005 when he was still 19 years of age against Espanyol Barcelona and three days fast forward, he scored a hat-trick against UD Lanzarote in a Copa del Rey fixture. Llorente has since gone on to score over 75 league goals, helping his side reach the finals of the Europa League and the Copa del Rey in the 2011-12 campaign.
Llorente made his debut for Spain against Chile in a friendly international on November 14, 2008. He was part of the Spain squad that won the 2010 World Cup finals in South Africa and also Euro 2012 two years later.
