A professional football player, Fahid Ben Khalfallah is a midfielder who was born in France but has chosen to represent his parents’ native country, Tunisia, as the national side he wants to play at the international level for. Fahid began his professional career for Amiens SC, in 2001. From 2001 to 2005, he slowly worked his way into the first team and played over 82 games, scoring four times, before moving to Stade Lavallois in 2005.
For two seasons, Fahid would raise his game and find a lot more playing time, making 73 appearances and scoring 12 times along the way. In 2007-08, he moved to Angers SCO and eventually made his debut for the senior Tunisian national team. He played 35 times for Angers and scored 5 goals before moving onto SM Caen for a single season. 30 games with two goals was Fahid’s haul for the 2008-09 season and that prompted another move to FC Valenciennes.
This time, Fahid played 39 times in the season, scoring 7 goals and earned a move to high flying FC Girondins de Bordeaux at the highest level of the game in France. However, since moving to the club, Fahid has failed to have a similar impact on the team and has not managed to play as much, making just 40 appearances, along the way.
