A professional football player from Cameroon, Landry Joel Tsafack N’Guemo plays as a defensive midfielder. Landry began playing in a small football club based near the city of Yaounde in France. He would play in the town called Dschang until the age of 13, before moving to Yaounde where there was a greater chance of being spotted by scouts. The French side AS Nancy, spotted a young Landry playing on those dusty fields and decided to bring him to the club in 2001.

Landry joined the youth academy at AS Nancy and made his way into the first team by the time he was 19-years old. He made his debut in a game against Olympique Lyonnais, coming on as a substitute. From 2005 to 2011, Landry played on and off for AS Nancy, winning the 2006 French Coupe de la League title.

However, in 2009-10, Landry was finding it hard to get a spot in the first team, and was loaned out to Celtic FC where he played 30 games through the season. Landry was considered one of the brightest prospects from Cameroon and since 2006, has been a part of the national team setup as well. He has earned almost 30 caps for the national team, scoring three goals while for AS Nancy, Landry has made almost 130 appearances.

In 2011, he moved to FC Girondins de Bordeaux where Landry has played over 35 times since his move and has become an essential part of the team.
