A professional French football player, Wahbi Kharzi plays as a midfielder with a specialization for creating those goal-scoring opportunities from an advanced role. Wahbi is of Tunisian descent and that gives him the opportunity to play for either Tunisia or France, whichever country he chooses. However, he was born and raised in France and that gave him the opportunity to train with JS Ajaccio from the tender age of 4. From 1995 to 2003, Kharzi was part of JS Ajaccio and that gave him a great platform from which to grow. However, to improve further, he would need to move to another club, a bigger club, and that is where SC Bastia came in.
Kharzi was signed by SC Bastia in 2003 and until 2009, when he made his professional debut with the club, Kharzi was a part of the youth academy at the club. Since moving into the first team, Kharzi demonstrated the truck-loads of skill he had and his ability to create fantastic plays for his team. He quickly became a regular member of the first team at SC Bastia and has, since, played over 110 games in the league, even scoring 12 times along the way.
