Daniel Carvajal is a Spanish football player who currently features for the Spanish and European giants Real Madrid. He plays as a right-back and is rated as one of the best young players in Europe.
Carvajal commenced his professional club football career at Madrid and was part of the B team between 2010 and 2012. He scored three goals in 68 league appearances but failed to break through into the first team.
In the summer of 2013 Carvajal was sold to Bayer Leverkusen on a five-year contract for a fee of €5 million. In the Bundesliga the youngster turned on the style and emerged as one of the key players in helping Bayer finish in the top four of the league and progress to the Champions League group stages of the 2013-14 season.

Madrid were impressed with Carvajal’s performances and signed him back for a fee of €6.5 million, exercising the buy-back option in the process. Since then Carvajal has impressed and progressed steadily at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Carvajal played for Spain at the Under-19 level between 2010 and 2011, making 11 appearances and winning the UEFA European Under-19 Football Championship. He also won the UEFA European Under-21 Football Championship with Spain in the summer of 2013.
