Billy Sharp is a soccer player playing for Sheffield United FC.
He is Sheffield-born and has become a club legend, starting his career with the Blades in 2004 and having another spell from 2007 to 2010 before returning in 2015 during an excellent period for the club that included a fairytale Premier League season and regaining promotion in 2023.
He has also played at numerous lower tier English clubs including Scunthorpe United and Doncaster Rovers as well as stints with Nottingham Forest and Leeds United.
In 2006-07 with Scunthorpe he won the League One Player of the Year, while he was also named in the League One Team of the Year in back-to-back campaigns.
