Joffre David Guerrón Méndez is an Ecuadorian international footballer who currently features for the Spanish club Getafe. He plays as a forward and can also pair up as a winger. He is the brother of Raul Guerron who played in the 2002 World Cup finals.
Joffre Guerron is one of the best players for Ecuador in recent times. He made his debut in professional at the tender age of 16 when he featured for SD Aucas in 2004. In 2005 he was signed by Argentine powerhouse Boca Juniors where he played for the lower divisions and never got the chance to play for the first team.
He was signed by LDU Quito in 2006 and featured for them until the summer of 2008. He played 31 league matches in these two seasons and scored 10 goals. He signed for Getafe in the summer of 2008 on a four year contract for 4 million euros.
