Eugen Polanski is a Polish-born German footballer who currently features for the Spanish side Getafe. He is a versatile midfielder who can play either in central midfield or on the right.
Eugen Polanski developed at German club Borussia Moenchengladbach and made his senior team debut for the club in 2004. He made 53 league appearances and scored once until the summer of 2008 when his contract at the club expired and he was signed by Spanish side Getafe on a free transfer.
Polanski has featured for the international youth teams of Germany but has not played any match for the senior German side. Although he is said to be keen on holding onto his German national status, there are one or two rumours that he might well feature for the Polish national side in the future.
