Francisco Javier Casquero Paredes is a Spanish footballer player who currently features for the Spanish football club Getafe. He plays as a central midfielder and is known for his powerful shots and intelligent passings.
Javier Caaquero made his debut in professional football for little known Spanish side CD Toledo in 1994 and the after playing for Atletico Madrid B for a season moved to Andalucian giants Sevilla FC in the summer of 2000. He made close to 150 league appearances for the Seville side in his five seasons at the Ramon Sanchez Pijzuan and then played for a season for Racing Santander and was a regular for Racing too.
In the summer of 2006 Casquero was signed by Getafe and he has been pretty much one of the revelations of this rapidly improving Getafe side.
