Mauro Germán Camoranesi Serra is an Italian international footballer who currently plays for the Italian giants Juventus. By birth he is an Argentine but was naturalized as an Italian and won the 2006 Germany World Cup with Italy.
Mauro Camoranesi made his progessional debut for modest Mexican side Santos Laguna in 1995 although he grew up supporting Argentine giants River Plate as a boy. He made his European entry in 2000 when he was signed by Italian side Hallas Verona from Cruz Azul and in the summer of 2002 moved to Italian powerhouse Juventus.
With Juventus, Camoranesi won Serie A in 2002-03, and Italian Super Cups in 2002 and 2003. He developed into a combative midfield player who could played down the flanks and whip in accurate crosses.

He made his international debut for Italy in February 2003 against Portugal in a friendly international and soon became a regular member of the Italian national squad. He represented Italy at Euro 2004 and 2006 World Cup.
