Cristian Tello is a young Spanish football player who currently features for the Spanish and European giants Barcelona. He plays as a forward as well as a winger and is rated as one of the most promising players in Europe.
Tello started his footballing career with CF Can Rull when he was just 11 years of age and moved to Barcelona soon after. He moved to CF Damm on loan for the 2007-08 season and was signed by Espanyol in 2008 when his contract with Barca ran out.
Tello was on the books of Espanyol for two years and played for their B team before moving back to Barcelona and started life in the B team. On November 8, 2011 he made his debut for the Barca first team, playing against CE L’Hospitalet in the Copa del Rey.

On January 28, 2012 Tello made his debut for Barca in La Liga against Villarreal in a goalless away draw and in March of that year, he played in the Champions League for the first time in his career when he came on as a substitute against Bayer Leverkusen. Tello was drafted in the Barca first team for the 2012-13 season and played his part in their La Liga-winning campaign.
Tello played for Spain at the 2012 London Olympics and made his debut for the senior side against Ecuador in a friendly international on August 14, 2013.
