Fabio Celestini is a Swiss international footballer who currently features for the Spanish club Getafe. He is a defensive midfielder and is one of the best players for his nation.
Fabio Celestini made his professional footballing career in the 1995-1996 season for Swiss club Lausanne and made over 100 league appearances for the club. He then arched across to French side Troyes in France in 2000 and two years down the line switched over to Olympique de Marseille.
Celestini was signed by Getafe in the summer of 2005 and has been a regular for them. He has played 35 times for his nation Switzerland and represented them at Euro 2004.
