Pedro Mario Alvarez Abrante, popularly known simply as Mario, is a Spanish footballer who currently features for the Spanish club Getafe. He plays as a central defender.
Mario made his debut in professional football in 2001 for Real Valladolid and after six seasons there moved to Andalucian side Recreativo de Huelva, although he did play for FC Barcelona for the 2003-2004 season on loan but could make only one league appearance.
Marion was signed by Getafe in the summer of 2007.
