Fabian Guedes, better known as Bolivar, is a professional football player from Brazil who plays as a central defender. Bolivar made his professional debut in 1999 for Guarani-RS, having spent two seasons at the club’s youth setup. For two seasons, he would be part of the first team at the club, making a name as a solid central defender with huge prospects for the future.

In 2001, Gremio signed Bolivar and he ended up helping the team win the 2001 Copa do Brasil title as well as the Campeonato Gaucho title. The following season, Bolivar moved to Joinville but soon moved to Internacional, signing a four-year deal. During that period, Bolivar would win three Campeonato Gaucho titles (2003, 2004 and 2005) as well as the 2006 Copa Libertadores title. He moved to AS Monaco in France, in 2006, and spent the next three years playing 56 games for the club.

In 2008, Bolivar was sent back to Internacional on loan, and he won the Copa Sudamericana title with the side as well as the 2009 Campeonato Gaucho title and the 2009 Suruga Bank Championship. In 2009, Internacional decided to make the move permanent and brought him back to Brazil.

Since then, Bolivar became a regular member of the first team, playing over 315 games and scoring 10 goals on his way to winning two more Campeonato Gaucho titles in 2011 and 2012, winning the Recopa Sudamericana in 2011 and the Copa Libertadores title in 2010.
