A professional football player from Brazil, Victor Leandro Bagy plays as a goalkeeper. In 2001, Victor began his playing career with the likes of Paulista Futebol Clube. After two seasons, he became a part of the first team at Paulista and, almost instantly, also became the first choice keeper at the club. From 2003 to 2007, Victor manned the posts and led Paulista to the 2005 Copa do Brasil triumph.
The youngster ended up playing around 140 games for Paulista before choosing to move to Gremio. Instantly slotting into the first-choice keeper’s slot, Victor was named as the best Serie A goalkeeper in 2008 and 2009, helping Gremio win the Rio Grande do Sul State League title in 2010.
He was also the first choice goalkeeper for the Brazilian senior national team when they won the 2009 Confederations Cup.
