Wallace dos Santos

A professional Brazilian football player, Wallace Oliveira dos Santos plays as a defender in the left-back position. Wallace began his playing career at the Fluminense youth academy in 2005. As a 17-year old, Wallace was considered good enough to be a part of the first team and ended up making his debut in 2011. Throughout the rest of the year, Wallace had 3 games for the first team, spending more of his time with the reserve squad.

He made his international debut at the Under-17 level, also in 2011, and played 7 games on the way to Brazil’s 2011 South American Under-17 Football Championship triumph. He also played for the Under-17 side at the 2011 FIFA Under-17 World Cup. The following year, Wallace was called up to the Under-20 national team and made three more appearances for Fluminense in the league. He continues to be more regular in the state league and cups.
