Candido Adilsen

A fantastic goalkeeper with loads of experience, Adilson Candido de Souza is a professional football player from Brazil. Having begun his playing career way back in 1995, Adilson started off on the bench at Atletico Mineiro. After just one season, he moved to Palmeiras, against struggling to find a regular starting place – a common problem for young goalkeepers.

He decided to move down the league-structure to find some more regular playing time, and joined Saocarlense. He played through the leagues, signing with Botafogo and then with Rio Branco before ending up at Ceara Sporting Clube in 2004.

Adilson is the undisputed number one choice keeper at the club, and maintains his place ahead of a talented bunch of keepers vying for the top spot.
