Wilson Omar Pittoni Rodriguez is a professional football player from Paraguay who plays as a midfielder. Wilson began his playing career with Libertad, in 2006, and remained a member of their reserve team for three seasons. Throughout his youth and professional career, until 2008, Wilson had been a part of Libertad but in 2009, he had to move away to find regular playing time. He moved to Sol de America where nothing presented itself and in the very same year, Wilson found himself looking for a new club again.
He moved to Tacuary in the second half of 2009, finally finding a place to play in the first division of the Paraguayan league. After making a strong impression on the team, he returned to Libertad and quickly established himself as a first team player. Over the course of the year, Wilson would play over 35 games and scored 2 goals on the way to earning a Primera Division title.
In 2011, Figueirense came calling and Wilson decided to sign with the Brazilian team and move up the ranks of professional football. However, struggling to establish himself in an extremely strong line-up, Wilson has remained primarily on the bench, playing just 19 games over two seasons so far.
