Adam Matuschyk is a professional football player who presently plays for the team of Fortuna Dusseldorf on loan basis. Prior to this team, he was with 1. FC Koln team. Also a member of the Poland national football team, Adam is naturally a left midfielder who can also be a defensive midfielder.

His football career started with the team of SpvGG Merzig, after which he joined VfB Dillingen team. He got promoted to the reserve team from 1. FC Koln in 2008-09 and earned in the first half of the season almost 11 caps and by 3rd of February 2009, he eventually got promoted to the Fußball-Bundesliga team. His Bundesliga debut was on 27th February 2010 which was played against the team of Bayer Leverusen. On 10th April, he scored his first Bundesliga goal twice to give Koln team a 2-0 away victory against Hoffenheim. He got loaned to the team of Fortuna Dusseldorf in January 2012.

With right to his international career, Adam made his first call up for the Poland national football team on 19th December 2009 in Thailand for the Kings Cup. But, he got retained by his club because of the scheduling of the tournament outside of the official FIFA calendar for international matches. On 4 May 2010, he got a call to play for the friendly match and he made his national debut on 29th May 2010 against the team of Finland. His first international goal was against the United States in October 2010.
