Anselmo Ramon

Anselmo Ramon Alves Erculano is a professional football player from Brazil who plays as a striker. Having begun his career at the Cruzeiro Esporte Clube youth academy, Ramon went on to make his professional debut from a different club. He turned pro in 2005 with Esporte Clube Bahia, and for two seasons, worked with their reserve team. In 2007, he returned to Cruzeiro and after one season with the club, went out on loan to Ituana in 2008.

The following season, Ramon went on another loan spell to Cabofriense before moving to Japan for a loan stint with Kashiwa Reysol. He returned to Brazil in 2010, but went straight out to Rio Branco for another loan spell. Ramon spent the middle part of 2010 with Avai Futebol Clube before moving to Europe and signing a loan deal with CFR Cluj till the end of the year. In 2011, he had another loan spell with Oeste Futebol Clube and, finally, has been placed into the Cruzeiro first team for around 25-odd games.
