Melo dos Santos

Aderbar Melo dos Santos Neto, otherwise known as Santos, is a professional football goalkeeper who plays at the highest division in Brazil's football structure. A fantastic prospect from a young age, Santos was picked up by the youth programme at Porto de Caruarum in 2006. After spending two seasons honing his skills, Santos was picked up and brought to the wonderful youth academy at Atletico Paranaense.

From 2008 to 2010, Santos was a part of the youth team and was, before all else, the first choice keeper in the youth and reserve team squad. In 2010, he got the big phone call and found out that he was picked to be a part of the first team at Atletico Paranaense on a regular basis. Since then, Santos has been the third-choice keeper after Testao was brought in, for the 2011 season.
