Andre Felipe Ribeiro de Souza is a professional football player from Brazil who plays as a striker. Beginning his career in his home-town club, Cabofriense, Souza was a promising youth team prospect in 2007. In 2009, he was picked up by Santos, who decided to give him a decent run-out in the midst of his hype. However, 18 games and seven goals is all Andre could manage, and that meant an end to his time with Santos.

He was, however, instrumental in helping Santos win their 2010 Brasileiro Serie A title and was also a part of the Copa do Brasil winning team.

However, the end wasn't a bad thing because these 18 games and seven goals came towards the end of that two year stint with Santos, a sight that caught the eye of plenty of European clubs like Dynamo Kyiv. In 2010, Dynamo brought him in for eight million Euro and after making his debut in league and Europe, he was sent out on a six-month loan, at the end of the season, to Girondins de Bordeaux.

At the beginning of the 2011 season, Andre returned to Kyiv after Bordeaux decided against buying him outright. He was sent on a second loan spell, this time to Atletico Mineiro. In his two games for the club, Andre scored a solitary goal and has been used, mainly, as a substitute. Despite his inexperience, the Brazilian national team called Andre up for four appearances, in 2010.
