A midfielder from Brazil, Rogerio Miranda Silva began his playing career at the youth academy at Remo. From 2004 to 2005, Rogerio was part of the youth academy but his graduation led to a place in the Figueirense first team, rather than the Remo youth academy. For the next three seasons, Rogerinho, as he was also known, was a part of the first team squad but spent two seasons on loan spells.

His first spell was away to Paysandu Sport Club in 2006 before a move to Fortaleza Esporte Clube in 2007. Over 2007-08, Rogerinho became a regular starter for the Fortaleza first team, scoring four times in 20 games.

During his early years, Rogerinho won the Para State League title twice, in 2004 and 2006, before going on to win the 2007 Ceara State League title in 2007.

This was to be his last action under a Figueirense contract because Rogerinho would be on his way to Al Wasl, in the UAE. Rogerinho’s two-year contract was riddled with loan spells, first to Ponte Preta where he played just three games, in 2009, before moving back to Fortaleza. The following year, he would start with Esporte Clube Bahia, raking up 21 appearances and four goals as well.

In 2011, Vissel Kobe from the Japanese League, bought his services for a season, although Rogerinho failed to leave his mark in 11 appearances. Finally, in 2012, he returned to Brazil to sign with Ceara Sporting Club.
