Jose Calvo

Jose Antonio Garcia Calvo is a Spanish football player who currently features for the Spanish club Real Valladolid. He is a central defender.

Jose Garcia started his footballing career at Real Madrid after rising through their youth academy. HE made his senior debut for the Merengues in the1995-1996 season but lasted just one more reason and made a total of just 16 first team appearances in the league.

He moved to Real Valladolid in the summer of 1997 and made 128 league appearances until the summer of 2001 when Atletico Madrid came calling. He was a success at the Vicente Calderon and played over a hundred league matches for them.

In the summer of 2006, Jose Garcia was signed by Real Valladolid once again and he has again been a success at Valladolid. Jose Garcia has featured three times for the Spanish national side. He made his debut in August 2002 against Hungary in a match that ended in a 1-1 draw.
