Nikao da Cruz

A professional football player who plays as a midfielder, Maycon Vinicius Ferreira da Cruz plays in his home country, Brazil. Popularly known as Nikao, he began his youth career at Mirassol, in 2007, before moving to Palmeiras in 2008. For two years, Nikao stayed at the Palmeiras youth academy before he was scouted by Santos in 2009.

He spent another two years at Santos and soon, found himself moving to Atletico Mineiro where he would not only spend the early part of 2010 in the youth structure, Nikao would also go on to make his professional debut.

After just three games towards the end of 2010, Nikao was sent out on loan to Vitoria and, thereafter, to Esporte Clube Bahia.
