A Brazilian football player who plays as a defender, Paulo Miranda, also known as Jonathan Doin, plays at the professional level in Brazil. In 2007, Paulo made his professional debut for Iraty Sport Club and for the two seasons he spent at the team, was a regular member of the starting eleven. He ended up playing over 60 games over the two seasons, scoring twice as well.

In 2008, he moved to Desportivo Brasil where he had mixed fortunes. In 2008-09, he was sent out to Palmeiras on loan after failing to make the grade with the first team. He played just three games before being called back to Desportivo. In 2010-11, he moved to Oeste Futebol Clube where he played a full season, with 26 appearances and four goals to his name.

He returned to his main club but was sent out to Esporte Clube Bahia on another loan spell. After just 9 games, and two goals, Paulo was recalled to the team. So far, Paulo has racked up 31 appearances for Desportivo Brasil in between his three loan spells. He is scheduled to go to Sao Paulo for the start of the 2012 season.
