Daniel Souza

Daniel Souza de Jesus, commonly called Daniel, is a professional Brazilian football player who plays as a defender on the right flank, or a right-back. Having played out his youth career at Internacional, in 2007, Daniel broke into the first team in 2008. He played just eleven league games for the team before being sent out on loan to Caxias in 2009.

After a short loan spell, Daniel returned to Internacional, but was sent out again, this time to Clube Nautico Capibaribe. At the end of the season, Daniel was destined to return, only to go back for another loan spell. His inability to break into the first team was telling and Avai Futebol Clube became his new home for 2011.
