Rafael Coelho

Rafael Coelho is a professional football player from Brazil, who plays as a striker. A youth academy product of Figueirense, Rafael promoted to the first team squad with a professional contract in 2007. Between 2007 and 2009, he created a special place for himself in the team, scoring 22 goals in just under 50 games.

He moved to Desportivo Brasil in 2010, but failed to get a place in their starting lineup. The same year as his transfer, Rafael was sent out on loan to Vasco da Gama where he only played 10 games, most of them as a substitute. He went back to Desportivo at the end of the season but 2011 meant another loan spell, this time to Avai Futebol Clube.

Despite interest from a number of European clubs, Rafael continues to struggle for a place in the first team.
