James Rodriguez or James David Rodriguez Rubio is a Colombian Football Player, who plays for Olympiakos in Greece.
Career
Born in 1991 in Cucuta, Colombia, James is an exceptional winger whose major teams include Envigado, Banfield and Porto other than the Colombian football team.
James has so far achieved tremendous success in his tenure in football, and is still going ahead as a strong player for his teams. This prolific goal scorer got signed by Banfield, a top Argentina club in 2008. Having made his debut in 2009 for the Banfield team, James enjoyed his first year, and ended as a title winner in the Aperture championship.

He scored almost five goals in 2010 Clausura championship, especially in Copa Libertadores campaign, before ending the game with a red card against SC International team.
The same year, he left for Porto and got selected in the team squad in the December month ending 32 matches as the Dragons won the treble. However, James came back as a substitute in 2011 UEFA Europa League against SC Braga and even scored a hat-trick in the Portuguese finals against Vitoria with 6-2. James got rewarded for his progress with a contract extension till 2016.
He left Porto in 2013 for Monaco, spending one year with them, before being picked up by Real Madrid in 2014, having impressed with Colombia at the World Cup in Brazil.
He enjoyed a good first season with Real but lost his spot with time and was loaned to Bayern Munich in 2017, spending two seasons on loan in Germany, being named in the Bundesliga Team of the Season in 2017-18. He returned to the Spanish capital in 2019.
In September 2020, James signed with Everton under Carlo Ancelotti on a two-year deal on a free transfer. He had one season in England before joining Qatari club Al Rayyan in September 2021. In September 2022, he left Al Rayyan for Olympiakos.
James has made more than 80 appearances for Colombia, including at the 2014 and 2018 World Cups. He won the 2014 World Cup Golden Boot and was named in the All-Star Team, along with winning the Goal of the Tournament.
