Florian Marange

A professional football player from France, Florian Marange plays as a defender in the left-back position. At one time, Marange was considered as one of the hottest talents to come out of France. However, since then, his performances have faded and Marange has remained a bit-part player on the fringes. From 2002 to 2004, Marange was an integral part of the youth academy setup at FC Girondins de Bordeaux.

He moved into the first team when he was just 18-years of age, and had a good start. Marange even got picked for the French Under-21 first team, in 2006. Having played a handful of games for the first team, Marange moved into a more attacking role, using his pace and skill against opposition defenders. However, he was used extremely rarely and in 2009, went out on a loan move to Le Havre AC in order to get some first-team action.

In 2009-10, after playing just 13 games for Le Havre, Marange moved to AS Nancy and saw out the end of the season, playing 16 times for the club. He returned to Bordeaux and slotted right back into the first team squad, in the same situation as before. Marange has only managed to make about 60-odd appearances for the first team, playing mostly for the reserve team in the process.
