Xavier Margairaz is a Swiss international footballer who currently features for the Spanish club Osasuna. He plays as a midfielder.
Xavier Margairaz made his debut for Swiss club Lausanne Sports in 2000 and then played for Neychatel Xamax and moved to FC Zurich in 2005. In his two seasons for the Swiss giants, he won successive Swiss domestic league titles.
Xavier Margairaz signed for Osasuna at the start of the 2007-2008 season on a three-year contract but failed to get into the first team because of injuries. He underwent a knee surgery in the last third of the 2007-2008 season and missed Euro 2008 due to a eight month recovery process.
Margairaz made his debut for Switzerland in 2005 and played for his nation at 2006 Grmany World Cup.
