Francesco Acerbi is a young Italian football player who currently features for the Italian and European giants AC Milan. He plays as a central defender and is rated as one of the most promising players in the country.
Acerbi commenced his professional club football career at Pavia in 2008 and played for them until 2010, scoring three goals in 48 league appearances. During his time there, he played on loan at Renate and Spezia.
In 2010 Acerbi joined Reggina and after one season joined Chievo. After a encouraging 2011-12 campaign with the Flying Donkeys, he was signed by Milan.
