Joel Chukwuma Obi, commonly known simply as Joel Obi, is a Nigerian football player who currently features for the Italian and European giants Inter Milan. He plays as a midfielder and is said to be a promising young player.
Obi developed at Inter’s youth academy and made his debut for the first team on September 29, 2010 in a Champions League game against Werder Bremen. He played in Serie A for the first time for the Nerazzzurri on October 17, 2010 against Cagliari.
Obi continued his development at Inter over the years and is now a regular member of the Inter first-team squad.
Obi made his international debut for Nigeria against Sierra Leone in a friendly international in Lagos on February 9, 2011.
