Fabio Henrique Simplicio is a Brazilian football player who currently features for the Italian Serie A club Palermo. He plays as a central midfielder.
Fabio Simplicio started his professiona club football career at Brazilian giants Sao Paulo in 2000 and played for them for years, scoring 15 goals in 116 league matches. He was considered a huge success at Sao Paulo and was signed by Italian club Parma in 2004. He scored 14 goals in 71 league matches for Parma and was then signed by Palermo for 5.5 million euros in the summer of 2006.
Simplicio soon became a regular central midfielder for Palermo and was one of the first names on the teamsheet at the start of every match. He was considered a key player for Palermo but moved to Roma in 2010.
