Miralem Pjanić is a football player playing for UAE club Sharjah. He is a Bosnia-Herzegovina international midfielder.
He has had a decorated and successful career, playing for top clubs Olympique Lyon, AS Roma, Juventus, Barcelona and Besiktas, after coming through at youth level with French club Metz.
He starred from 2015 to 2019 in Serie A for both Roma and Juventus, having been named in the Serie A Team of the Year four times in a row. He also won the Serie A title four times with Juventus.
He was also named in the 2016-17 UEFA Champions League Team of the Season when Juve were runners-up.
His time with Barcelona was less fruitful, falling out of favour and opting to move to UAE club Sharjah in September 2022.
