Sejad Salihović

Born on 8 October 1984 in Zovrnik, Sejad Salihovic is a Bosnian footballer playing currently for 1899 Hoffenheim primarily as a left midfielder. He is a versatile player who can play as a centre midfield, left winger and also occasionally as a left back. He is also a free kick specialist. He is a member of the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team. His hobbies include playing football, reading and spending time with his family.

Sejad’s career was incepted with the youth team of Minerva 93 Berlin and has moved to Hertha 03 Zehlendorf and continued with the same till 2000. In 2000 he transferred to the Hertha BSC. He was promoted to the first team in the year 2004. His professional debut was made in the Bundesliga match against Hamburger SV. In 2006, Salihović was transferred to 1899 Hoffenheim.

In 1899 Hoffenheim he had made the maximum number of 154 appearances scoring 34 goals and has rated as the player of 2.Bundesliga by the Kicker Sports Magazine and has also finished the season scoring six goals in 27 matches with the best overall grades,
