Born on 4 September 1986, Lorenzo Davids is a Dutch footballer from Suriname who is playing currently for German club FC Augsburg having previously played for N.E.C and Feyenoord. Lorenzo is the cousin brother of famous footballer Edgar Davids.
He had come across with a chance to play with various teams in his youth initially. He commenced his career with Voorland and has played with various other teams including Waterwijk, Omniworld, Utrecht and Feyenoord. His professional career started with Feyenoord in 2006 and continued for a year. In 2007 he joined N.E.C and had played with the same for next four years making 131 appearances and scoring 5 goals. In 2011 He signed a deal with FC Augsburg.
He has got his first call-up for National football team of Netherlands in U-21 in October 2007.
