Born on 29 January 1986 in Horn-Bad Meinberg, Daniel Brinkmann is a German Footballer playing currently for FC Augsburg as a midfielder.
He has commenced his career at the age of six in 1992 with TuS Horn-Bad Meinberg and continued with the same for the next three years till 1995. In 1995 he switched to TuS Eichholz-Remmighausen and played with the same till 1998. In 1998 he played for SV Diestelbruch-Mosebeck. He was also in a youth side of SC Paderborn 07 squad. He moved to BV Bad Lippspringe in 2000 and left it in 2002 to join senior side of SC Paderborn 07. In 2009 he signed a deal with FC Augsburg making maximum number of 60 appearances while scoring 4 goals at present.
He also had an opportunity to represent the national football team of Germany in U-21 level in 2007.
