Born on 15 May 1983 in Freetown, Gibril Sankoh is a football player from Sierra Leone playing currently for Bundesliga club, FC Augsburg as a centre back.
He commenced his career with Royal Stars and has moved to De Kennemers. He remained with the same club till 2004 and has later joined Stormvogels Telstar in 2004. He got transferred to Groningen in 2005 making the maximum number of 150 appearances. In 2010, he left Groningen to join FC Augsburg.
